After 22 years of serving clients in the Petal - Hattiesburg area from a Hattiesburg office, Doug moved his office to Petal and King CPA, PLLC was established in August 2005.  

The history of King CPA, PLLC is built upon a tradition of service, technical expertise, and building a relationship with our clients to meet the needs of a rapidly changing world. The experience and academic credentials of our partner and staff provide our clients with the expertise of larger firms, while our commitment to superior customer service offers a personal, one-on-one approach.

Douglas A. King, CPA,  Manager / Partner - Doug is a 1977 graduate of Petal High School and a 1981 graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi.  He and his wife, Tracey, currently reside in Petal.

Rebecca L. Johnston, CPA,  Senior Accountant  / Tax Manager -  Rebecca is a 1991 graduate of Petal High School and a 1998 graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi.  She and her husband, Todd, currently reside in Petal.

Melissa M. Boone, MBA,  Senior Accountant / Auditor - Melissa is a 1998 graduate of Yazoo County High School,  a 2003 graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, and a 2005 graduate of William Carey University.  She and her husband, Jonathan, currently reside in Hattiesburg.

Tracy B. DeGeorge, BSBA,   Senior Accountant - Tracy is a 1989 graduate of Picayune High School and a 1993 graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi.  She, her husband Eric, son Mason and daughter Olivia currently reside in Petal.

Jennifer M. Davis,  Senior Bookkeeper / Payroll - Jennifer is a 2002 graduate of Petal High School and a 2004 graduate of Jones County Junior College.  She and her husband, Rickey, currently reside in Petal.

Daphne W. Golden, Office Manager - Daphne is a 1986 graduate of Hattiesburg High School.  She and her husband, Jay, currently reside in Petal.
